Selina Joyce (LaForce) Silvia 71 of Tiverton passed away Friday unexpectedly. She was the wife of Robert Silvia.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Gertrude (Cabral) and Louis LaForce. A Homemaker, she was a member of Holy Ghost Parish. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 3 daughters Robin Church of Somerset, Karen Phenix of Newtown, CT and Darlene Marois of Tiverton. She also leaves her grandchildren James Church Jr., Andrew Church, Jacob Phenix, Sara Phenix, Olivia Phenix, Jack Marois, Samantha Marois and Lilly Marois. She was the world's best grandmother and was devoted to her family. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings William LaForce Jr., Barbara Mello, Charlene Pacheco, Patricia Oliveira and Scott LaForce. She was the sister of the late Normand LaForce and Cynthia Swist.
Visitation THURSDAY 6 - 8PM. Her Funeral will be held FRIDAY at 9am from the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton with a 10am Mass at Holy Ghost Church. Burial will be Private.
