Serafim Silveria Rodrigues 75 of Fall River died on Tuesday. He was the husband of Maria F. Rodrigues. Born in Faial, Azores, he was the son of the late Maria Leonor (DaRosa) and Joaquim Silveira Rodrigues. He had formerly worked as a Carpenter at Horner Millworks. He had served in the Portuguese Army and was a member of Good Shepherd Parish. He lived to sit at the park, watch baseball and enjoyed scratch tickets. He loved fishing and going on vacations. He was most fond of spending time with his family and grandchildren and is survived by 3 children Maria Wright (Husband Clifford), Anne Lantz (Husband Russell) and Thelma Dess (Husband David) along with 7 grandchildren in addition to his wife. He also leaves brothers Jose Luis DaSilva, Carlos DaSilva and Adolfo DaSilva along with several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Manuel Rodrigues. Visitation SUNDAY 5-7PM. His Funeral will be held MONDAY at 8am from the A F ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St, Fall River with a 9am Mass at Good Shepherd Church.
