Sherry A. Cox, 55, of Fall River, died peacefully on May 20, 2026 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.  She was the loving companion of Ronald W. Costa.  Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. Cox and Cynthia J. (Martin) Cox.

Shery was employed as a clerk at Elite Gas Station for many years.   She was a graduate of Fisher College where she received her Associates Degree in accounting and business.

In addition to her companion, Ronald, she leaves her siblings, Thomas J. Cox, Jr. of Fall River, and Pamela L. Alix of North Baltimore, OH.  Cherished aunt of Nicholas Cox, Cynthia Cox, Thomas Cox, Robert Cox, Natasha Oliveira, Courtney Alix, Alysha Alix, Katie Alix, and grandaunt of Nevaeha Whiting, Lilliana Whiting, Ryan Campbell, Ava O'Brien, and Malachi Coleman.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 1, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a funeral service to follow in POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 462 Main Road, Tiverton, RI.  Burial will be private.
