Stephen D. Souza, 67, of Tiverton, died peacefully at home on July 1, 2017. He was the loving husband of Claudette (St. Germain) Souza. Born in Fall River, MA, he was a son of the late Dennis Souza & Meryl R. (Crane) Souza.

Stephen worked as a self-employed painter for many years. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his siblings: Barry Souza of Fall River, David Souza of Westport, Chrisan Rosa & her husband Juan of Westport, Pennie Kaiser & her husband Charles of Westport, his brother-in-law Douglas R. St. Germain of Fall River & sister-in-law Carol Ann Rioux & her husband Raymond of Fall River. He also leaves many nieces & nephews.

In accordance with Stephen's wishes, his funeral and burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements have been entrusted to POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 462 Main Road, Tiverton.
