Tadeous John Gay Jr. 64 of Avondale, Az went home to the Lord Friday October 11, 2013. He was born
February 23, 1949 to Tadeous and Lucinda Gay in Fall River, Ma. He attended Fort Butts school In Portsmouth R.I. He was drafted into the U.S. Army on February of 1969 where he served 16 months in Viet Nam. He was discharged at the rank of Sargeant on September 1970. "Ted" was a self employed shellfisherman for more than 20years. He then worked for R.I. Clam as a shipper/receiver.Ted and his wife moved to Avondale AZ in 2009. Tadeous is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Marie. Two Sons Juston K Mercier and Jana Mercier of Fall River, Ma and Tadeous and Merci Gay of Fall River, Ma. Two Grandchildren, Janet Mercier and Daniel Mercier of Fall River, Ma.. One Sibling, Sister Virginia and Raymond Soucy of Litchfield Park, AZ .Ted leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, sister in laws & brother in laws .
Visitation FRIDAY Oct 18th from 5-8 PM. His Funeral will be held on SATURDAY Oct. 19th with a Service to commence at 9am in the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI.
