Vera Marie (Mendoza) Araujo 89 of Fall River, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 5, 2023.
She was the widow of Daniel P. Araujo.  Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Diamentina (Rodrigues) and Francis Mendoza.  She had worked as an assembler for Globe Assembly for 25 years.  A Member of Holy Trinity Parish, she was a Marian Medal recipient and former president of the Women's Guild  and a Eucharistic Minister.
She is survived by 2 daughters Vera Ann Baldwin (husband Kenneth) and Brenda Araujo Barbour (husband Pierre) along with grandchildren Daniel Baldwin (wife Jill), Cynthia Baldwin Reed (husband Robert) and Alexander Barbour.  Great grandchildren are Ella Baldwin, Ethan Baldwin & Charlotte Reed.  She was the sister of he late Frank Mendoza.
Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 14th with visitation prior from 9 to 10:30am at the A F Almeida & Son Funeral Home 1309 Globe St., Fall River with a 11am Mass to follow at Holy Trinity Church.  Entombment at Notre Dame Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations my be made in her memory to the Mass. Alzheimer's Disease Research Center 114 16th St. #2011 Charlestown, MA 02129 or a charity of one's choice.
