Walter Ainsworth Jr.  84, formerly of Tiverton, RI passed away on March 20, 2021.  He was the husband of the late Carol A. (Aspin) Ainsworth.  Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Letitia May (Sabins) and Walter Ainsworth.  He was affectionately known as "Papa" by his family.  He had worked as a Builder/Carpenter and had served in the Army Reserves.  Walter had been a member of the North Tiverton Methodist Church and was instrumental in the building of the church.  He also provided guidance and a helping hand in the renovations of his children's homes.  He enjoyed bingo trips to Foxwoods with Nana, bowling, riding his bicycle, playing cards, boating, and spending time with family.

He is survived by a daughter Linda Pineau (Husband David) and 2 sons Walter W. Ainsworth (Wife Annette) and Thomas Ainsworth (Wife Kimberly).  In addition, he leaves 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  Mr. Ainsworth was the father of the late Susan Ann Ainsworth.  He was predeceased by a brother and a sister and leaves several nieces and nephews.
