WILLIAM ROBIDOUX JR.

William Robidoux Jr., also known as "Buddy" 86 of Tiverton died on April 13, 2011. He was the husband of Jane A. (Melanson) Robidoux. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Margaret (Bourgeois) and William Robidoux Sr. He had worked as a Heavy Duty Mechanic for the Federal Government for 34 years. He had served in the US Navy as a Motor Machinist's Mate First Class and was a WWII Veteran. He was also in the Naval Reserve and then retired from the Reserves. He loved to do woodworking. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Cheryl Astorino (husband Louis) of Tiverton, a grandaughter Stacy Congdon (husband Peter) and a grandson Steven Astorino (wife Patricia) and 5 greatgrandchildren. He also leaves a sister Loretta Robidoux, a brother Raymond Robidoux and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Edward Robidoux. Visitation FRIDAY 5-8 PM. His Funeral will be held SATURDAY at 9am from the POCASSET MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI with a 10am Mass at Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton.
