Zelia Ferreira 90 of Fall River, MA passed away on April 7, 2021.  She was the widow of Manuel Ferreira.  Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Rosa (Medeiros) and Francisco Machado.  She had formerly worked as a Seamstress at Darwood Manufacturing and was a communicant of Good Shepherd Parish.  She is survived by 4 children Francisco Aguiar, Margarida Soares, Natalia Perreira and Bento Aguiar.  In addition she leaves 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  She also leaves her siblings Daniel Machado, Rosa Medeiros and was the sister of the late Serafim Machado.  A Walk Through Visitation will be held on Saturday April 10th from 7:30 to 8:30 am at the A F Almeida & Son Funeral Home 1309 Globe St., Fall River, MA  prior to her Funeral Mass at Good Shepherd Church at  9 am.  Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery. www.almeida-pocasset.com for on line guest book.
